نرم افزار Winmount

امروزه کاربران برای تهیه آرشیو از اطلاعات پراکنده خود از روش های مختلف استفاده می کنند. حتما بارها با فایل های فشرده با پسوند زیپ و یا RAR سرو کار داشته اید و می دانید برای دسترسی به محتویات آن ها، ابتدا باید آن ها از حالت فشرده خارج کرده و سپس استفاده نمود. در مورد فایل های کوچک مسلما مشکلی وجود نخواهد داشت امادر مورد فایل های بزرگ با حجمی بیشتر از 1 گیگابایت موضوع کمی فرق می کند. تصور کنید فایلی با حجم یک گیگابایت ممکن است حاوی چند گیگابایت اطلاعات باشد و برای خارج کردن آن از حالت فشرده، شما به فضایی معادل حجم غیره فشرده آن در هارد دیسک نیاز دارید. اینجاست که این برنامه منحصر به فرد و یا حدقل کم نظیر به کمک شما می اید.
نرم افزار Winmount قادر است فایل های فشرده با پسوند ZIP ،7z ،Rar را در یک درایو مجازی باز کند و شما می توانید بدون این که فضایی از هارد دیسک رایانه اشغال شود، به محتویات آن ها که ممکن است یک فیلم، بازی و یا نرم افزار باشد دسترسی پیدا کنید. کار با این برنامه بسیار ساده است. شما می توانید همانند یک درایو هارد دیسک وارد آن شده، به محتویات آن چیزی اضافه کرده، چیزی را حذف کنید و یا فایل های موجود در آن را اجرا کنید. کاربرد دیگر این برنامه در باز کردن تصاویر ساخته شده از CD ها و DVD  ها می باشد. توسط این برنامه تصاویر CUE, BIN, CCD, BWT, MDS, CDI, PDI B5T را در درایو مجازی باز کرده و به محتویات آنها دسترسی پیدا کنید. به جای اینکه فایل های فشرده را برای استفاده از حالت فشردگی خارج کنید می توانید با استفاده از این برنامه آنها را به صورت یک درایو USB یا یک CD-ROM مجازی مورد استفاده قرار دهید. با این برنامه حتی می توانید Image پشتیبان برنامه Norton Ghost را هم بخوانید تا بتوانید فایل خاصی را بدون برگرداندن کل اطلاعات بدست آورید. همچنین می توانند با استفاده از ابزارهای موجود در نرم افزار اقدام به تهیه فایل های آرشیو نیز نمایند. در این نرم افزار کاربران از امکانات متعدد مدیریتی و ساخت فایل های آرشیوی برخوردار می باشند. این نرم افزار توسط شرکت WinMount International برای استفاده کاربران ساخته شده است. پشتیبانی از فرمت های مختلف Image فایل ها یکی دیگر از مزیت های این نرم افزار محسوب می شود.  نرم افزار Winmount هم اکنون قابلیت پشتیبانی  از فایل های PACK شده را نیز دارد. این برنامه همچنین از فایل های با فرمت WIM نیز پشتیبانی می کند.

WinMount is a powerful windows utility which is dedicated to managing compressed archives and image files impressively and conveniently. It's used to mount MOU, RAR, ZIP, ISO,etc archives as virtual disk, which enabling you to use the files inside it directly without needing to extract it beforehand. Such convenient, therefore, saves your time and disk space dramatically. WinMount also have compress, decompress and browse function that widely used by common compression tools. • Compress, decompress, browse
- WinMount supports the regular operations for archives: compress, decompress (smart decompression is supported), browse.
ZIPfolder:Open a ZIP as a folder.

• Mount - New opertation mode for archives
- Mount: Use archives directly by mounting them as a virtual drive, decompression is not needed.
- When mount RAR/ZIP file, WinMount will create an index file for it at the first time (only the first time), you should wait a moment. Other times you mount it will in an instant.
- We strongly recommend you to convert RAR/ZIP/7Z to MOU, because MOU never need to create index file.

• Image files support
- WinMount supports mount image files to a virtual drive.
- They are: ISO, BIN/CUE, CCD, BWT, MDS/MDF, NRG, IMG, ISZ.

• Audio, CD support
- WinMount supports mounting APE/FLAC/WV to a virtual CD. Conversion is not needed. You can listen to songs by selecting.

• WMT - Designed for private files
- WMT can be opened by WinMount only. Encrypt function is being developed. This format is designed for protect the private files.

• Other common formats support
- WinMount supports mounting VHD (Virtual hard disk).
- WinMount supports mounting WIM and browsing Microsoft WIM.

• Folder support
- WinMount can mount folder as a virtual disk. This function is widely used by advance users.
